I am Margaret MacDuffie and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  I listen without judging and assist without condescending. I am a counselor who treats adolescents, adults, couples and families in a comfortable, confidential and supportive atmosphere. Counseling is directed towards assisting the client to gain insight into their personal behaviors, their choices and improving their communication skills. These tools are used by the client to increase positive changes in their personal, professional, academic and social lives.  

Specialties include bereavement, adjustment, post-traumatic and anxiety issues as well as court related evaluations & assessments for competency, custody, visitation, adoption and delinquency.

Your first appointment can usually be scheduled within 2 days of your call and I have a 24 hour answering service. Evening hours are available. Insurance may cover all or part of the fee. I am a provider with many insurance carriers and managed care groups. I also accept cash, checks, VISA, MC, & AMEX.
