and preparation of psychosocial's to aid in the formulation and implementation of
treatment plans.
● Rape Crisis Center: December 1992 - June 1993: Therapist: Crisis counseling and
ongoing psychotherapy for victims of sexual assault, group treatment for survivors
of incest and rape.

Team Coordinator duties included supervision of all clinical and service aspects
of the Team, assignment of cases, training of personnel and evaluation of job performance,
monitoring and statistical summary for compliance with State funding guidelines.
Interagency representation and coordination of services, public presentation of
Team function and education in dynamics of child abuse, trainer in child sexual abuse
for provider agencies. Clinical Coordinator duties included interviewing, written
assessments and court testimony on cases referred for evaluation of alleged child
abuse. Public presentations and training on the dynamics of sexual abuse. Assisted
in grant writing for agency and public fund raising events.
● City of New York Department of Probation: July 1981 - Dec. 1987 Probation Officer: Criminal

Duties included supervision of adults and juveniles placed on probation for misdemeanor
crimes to include home visits, as well as reports to the Court on persons in violation
of Orders of Probation. Preparation of investigative reports and recommendations
for use in sentencing, matters of visitation, custody, adoption, neglect, abuse,
delinquency, termination of parental rights, modifications of Orders of Support,
and Department Liaison with the Staten Island Sexual Abuse Network.
Young Peoples Information Services Project Coordinator: April 1985 - December
1987 Special assignment while serving as a Probation Officer for the City of New
York. YPIS is a nonprofit state funded agency. Coordinator responsibilities included
daily operation of the Staten Island Delinquency Diversion Program, Tutorial Program,
and the Staten Island Community Dispute Resolution Program. Also intake, assessment
and assignment of youths to appropriate program components, as well as interagency
coordination of services. Monitoring (in appropriate cases) of compliance to court
orders, statistical summary and compliance to State contract guidelines. Submission
of quarterly reports to funding sources and Board of Directors. Supervision and evaluation
of counselors and personnel, scheduling of services in all three programs. Mediation
responsibilities included preparation of training materials, program evaluation,
public education on functions of mediation, statistical reporting and maintaining
compliance to State standards, as well as quarterly attendance and training in Albany,
New York.
● South Beach Psychiatric Center: August 1980 - August 1981: Mental Health Therapist: In
charge responsibilities in addition to patient care in a psychiatric inpatient setting.
Managing groups, psychological testing, individual supportive therapy, case management
and discharge planning.
